Patient Navigator

Hi, my name is Ana. I’m currently a Patient Navigator assisting patients in scheduling neurological and psychological testing at Gunn Psychological Services in the city of Rancho Cucamonga, California. I grew up in Irvine, Orange County. I’m currently a student at West Coast University, majoring in Healthcare Administration so I can better serve my patients and make a positive impact in their lives. My personal goal is to serve my community and my kids' school. Professionally, I am excited to learn more about the services and resources we can provide our patients here at Gunn Psychological Services. 

I have been in healthcare settings for 10 years and have held different roles, including Senior Patient Care Coordinator and Data Analyst at Quest Diagnostics, Population Health Coordinator at Optum, Medicare Member Service Representative at IEHP, and my current role as a Patient Navigator at Gunn Psychological Services. My hobbies include going for walks and being a cross-country, volleyball, and track/field mom. Some skills I bring to the team include customer service, healthcare knowledge, empathy, and understanding. I am grateful to be part of this team and to help make a difference in our patients’ lives.
