Tinh Ngo, M.A.

Tinh is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker supporting diverse clients in the Southern California area with person-centered approach to assist them with improving health and well-being. Tinh received his Bachelor's Degree from Penn State University in 2000 and his Master’s degree in Social Work from Bryn Mawr College in 2005. His background is human development and family studies, gerontology, trauma, and substance abuse.

Tinh primarily works with adults of all ages who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, phase of life challenges, relationship problems, adjustment disorders and other behavioral or functional problems of living. He approaches therapy from a solutionfocused perspective because of his identification of a specific problem that can be addressed via short-term therapy. This model also suggests that the solution to a problem does not have to be the perfect one, but rather the solution that works and is constructive for the specific individual. It is also beneficial in that the client is an active participant in determining what this solution is and how to apply it.
