Ashley Pugh

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I have a master’s degree in clinical psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy from Pepperdine University. My clinical career includes providing family and individual therapy to adolescent girls involved in foster care and the juvenile justice system. As a clinical therapist in early childhood mental health programs, I’ve provided trauma informed treatment to children and families recovering from physical, sexual abuse and domestic violence. I have been trained in evidence based practices aimed to help families recover from trauma and strengthen the parent-child relationship. Through this work, I taught and counseled parents on effective parenting strategies that promoted their child’s healing and recovery from trauma.

I have provided individual therapy to adults suffering from depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, adverse childhood experiences and interpersonal (relationship) challenges.

Major areas of clinical specialty include: recovery from childhood trauma, chronic depression, chronic anxiety and family life challenges.

I have a heart and passion for providing a safe space to help people process their experiences and past pain in a meaningful way that will remove the barriers keeping them from living full and satisfying lives.

My goal is to provide a safe place for you to heal. To recover from those old wounds that still impact you and change the patterns in your life that no longer serve you. To help you to gain the tools and awareness to move forward and live a stronger, happier and healthier life."
