As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT51292), it is very important to me that my approach is always centered around you. Sometimes in life we may feel as though no one understands us. There may be times when we feel our problems are out of our control and we create scenarios in our minds that make us feel even more apart from those around us. We might have difficulty adjusting to a change or even managing bad feelings that we just can’t seem to get away from. I will be right beside you as we work together to help you overcome whatever obstacles you might be experiencing. I believe each client is their own expert, therefore, you will be the driver on our journey together through therapy. I will show you respect and understanding and will work at a pace that is comfortable for you as you learn new ways of thinking about yourself and the world around you.

I have gained extensive experience over the past 14 years of my career working with adolescents, treating depression and anxiety as well as helping my clients stabilize important relationships. Therapy is not a one size fits all and my approach with each client is individualized to meet their specific needs. I have worked with clients in both residential and outpatient settings as well as with clients involved in the criminal justice system and with open cases with the Department of Children and Family Services.

I firmly believe the therapeutic relationship is the most important part of the therapy process. And because of this, I will maintain transparent and open communication with you to make sure your needs are being met. Remember, you are in charge of this journey, and we will go wherever you take us.
